FPL Gameweek 28 – head-to-head comparisons: Adama Traore vs Dwight McNeil

A popular choice from a few weeks ago, Adama Traore (£5.9m) has seen his minutes cut in recent weeks as a switch to 3-5-2 has meant the Spaniard has resided on the bench for the last two gameweeks. Offering explosive potential when he does start, Traore will be a candidate to drop in price this week, with players shipping him out in their droves before their match against Tottenham.

Unlike Traore, there is no danger of rotation when it comes to Dwight McNeil (£6.0m). Burnley’s left-sided midfielder has started every league match so far this season. He also has the advantage over Traore of taking the occasional set-piece for the Clarets. An away fixture against Newcastle on BGW28 offers a chance for McNeil to continue his good form from the weekend.
