Leicester returned to winning ways after back-to-back losses in the Premier League as they racked up four goals against West Ham in Gameweek 24. Ayoze Perez (£6.2m) found the back of the net twice in that game as he scored double figures for the fourth time this season. Despite the four goals in that game, James Maddison (£7.6m) once again had a fruitless outing as he failed to contribute in front of goal.
Those two efforts from Perez took his tally to seven goals for the season, surpassing Maddison’s total by one. Maddison’s last goal came in Gameweek 21 with the one before that being in Gameweek 15 and he has only produced two assists over that same period. He is struggling to produce the goods consistently in terms of FPL output and with Perez scoring three goals in his last five matches as well as chipping in with three assists in those games, the Spaniard is the pick for Leicester’s home game with Chelsea.
