FPL Gameweek 23 – head-to-head comparisons – Harry Maguire vs Djibril Sidibe

Harry Maguire (£5.2m) has been carrying a knock of late but that has not stopped him from featuring for Man Utd and he was part of the defence that kept a clean sheet in his side’s win over Norwich last week. That was his second clean sheet in three matches but Man Utd have only kept a further two in the rest of their fixtures this season with them having real issues at the back. That is not likely to get any easier this weekend as they host runaway league leaders Liverpool.

Djibril Sidibe (£5.4m) looks to have nailed his place in the Everton starting XI under Carlo Ancelotti and will hope his role as a wing-back will help him offer more in an attacking capacity as the season develops. He has been involved in three clean sheets in the last five matches for his side but perhaps more impressively, he also collected three assists during that period and his attacking threat as well as an improved defensive record under Ancelotti makes the Frenchman more appealing here.
