FPL Gameweek 22 – head-to-head comparisons – Todd Cantwell vs Adama Traore

Adama Traore (£5.6m) will relish this Gameweek 22 matchup with a struggling Newcastle defence and his pace is likely to cause them all sorts of problems. With the Magpies dealing with multiple injuries at the back, they could be forced to play a makeshift left-back with DeAndre Yedlin a possibility to try and offer some form of counter to Traore’s brilliant speed.

Heading to Old Trafford does not carry the fear of years gone by and Todd Cantwell (£4.9m) will fancy his chances of helping his Norwich side upset the odds as they face Manchester United. The hosts look to have real problems at the back and with a lack of options at centre-back, there will be opportunities for Cantwell to not only create chances but get in to the box to add to his six-goal tally.

There is little to choose between the two and both have posted double-figure scores in two of their last four matches when appearing in the starting line-up but it is Traore who is more likely to achieve that feat in Gameweek 22. Five of the six goals that Cantwell has scored this season have come when playing at home at Carrow Road and with Wolves possessing the better match-up against an injury-hit Newcastle, Traore looks to have the greater chance of posting another impressive total to maintain his recent form.
