FPL Gameweek 2 – head-to-head comparisons: Marcus Rashford vs Heung Min-Son
Whilst Man Utd's Marcus Rashford (£9.5m) did not feature in Gameweek 1 with no fixture, it was misery for Heung-Min Son (£9.0m). Spurs were beaten 0-1 by Everton and the South Korean failed to make an impact, blanking and bringing home just 2 FPL points to the frustration of all his owners.
Gameweek 2 sees Man Utd's season get underway at home to Crystal Palace and Rashford, who is not classed as a midfielder in FPL will be hoping to bag at least one goal. However, there is a question mark over his fitness with rumours of an ankle injury having come to the surface. Son meanwhile, has a chance to bounce back with Spurs away to Southampton. The Saints lost 1-0 to Palace on the opening day of the season and were knocked out of the Carabao Cup in midweek. Son and Spurs could be set to take full advantage of their struggles and priced at £0.5m cheaper than Rashford, looks like a shrewd selection here.
Verdict: Heung-Min Son
