FPL Gameweek 2 – head-to-head comparisons: Kieran Tierney vs Gabriel
Arsenal secured a comfortable 0-3 win over newly promoted Fulham in Gameweek 1, which meant clean sheets for defenders Kieran Tierney (£5.5m) and Gabriel (£5.0m) to start the new Premier League season. As debuts go, it couldn't have gone better for Gabriel who also found the net to secure a whopping 15 FPL points compared to Tierney's 6.
The Gunners host West Ham in Gameweek 2 and must be confident of a second successive shut out here. Gabriel is priced at £0.5m cheaper than Tierney. However, the former Celtic man ended last season with a strong performance at the Emirates, scoring and providing an assist. If he is afforded the same license to roam forward in this game by manager Mikel Arteta, then he could well be in line for some attacking returns of his own in Gameweek 2.
