Due a spate of positive Covid-19 tests within the Man City camp, manager Pep Guardiola has had no choice but to start midfielder Phil Foden (£6.2m) in the last couple of matches. The young star has given a fantastic account of himself as a result, especially in Gameweek 17 with a goal and an assist in his side's 1-3 triumph over Chelsea. Mason Greenwood (£7.1m) in comparison has started just once in Man Utd's last four Premier League games. His last appearance for the Red Devils was off the bench in their midweek defeat to Man City in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.

Foden will be hoping to put on performance similar to Gameweek 17 for Man City in Gameweek 18, with Brighton the visitors to the Etihad Stadium. Greenwood will be hoping he gets given a start as Man Utd travel to Burnley. It is difficult to judge whether Greenwood will be granted that start though and when considering Foden's price, alongside the likelihood that he will feature from the first whistle against the Seagulls and it makes sense for us to lean towards Foden.

Verdict: Phil Foden
