Both Callum Wilson (£6.5m) and Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.8m) are going through lean patches in front of goal heading into Gameweek 18. Gameweek 14 was the last time Wilson found the net, although you have to go back to Gameweek 11 for Calvert-Lewin's last goal, however the Toffees forward has managed to register three assists since then.
Gameweek 18 sees Newcastle travel to Sheffield Utd, whilst Everton are away at Wolves. The fixtures seem to favour Wilson, with Sheffield Utd bottom of the Premier League with only two points to their name, not to mention Wilson having had previous in scoring against the Blades last season as a Bournemouth player. When combined with Wilson's 1.3m cheaper price tag, it's clear that the Newcastle frontman represents the better value option here.
