Mohamed Salah (£12.2m) continued his good record at the Vitality Stadium after scoring and assisting against Bournemouth in Gameweek 16, picking up 13 FPL points. It was Salah's first league goal for Liverpool since Gameweek 12 against Man City and the first time Salah had played 90 minutes since Gameweek 8, having had trouble shaking off an ankle injury in recent weeks.
Sadio Mane (£12.3m) was given a rest in Gameweek 16 following his performance against Everton three days earlier, where he registered two assists and a goal in Liverpool's 5-2 demolition of their Merseyside rivals. Mane will be expected to return to the starting lineup in Gameweek 17 against Watford.
Both players will be expected to provide attacking returns at home to a side struggling in the relegation zone. Salah is more of a differential, owned by 21.5% of owners compared to Mane's 42.7%. Salah scored four goals in Liverpool's home game against Watford back in 2018, whilst Mane scored twice against the Hornets in 2019. You could flip a coin between them, but with a slightly cheaper price tag and the potential for picking up differential points, we're edging towards Salah.
