The two highest scoring forwards in FPL so far this season locked horns in Gameweek 14 and it was Jamie Vardy (£10.2m) who came out on top over Harry Kane (£11.0m). The Leicester striker opened the scoring with a penalty before assisting a second goal as the Foxes secured a 0-2 win over Spurs. Vardy ended the match 12 FPL points, whilst Kane drew a blank with a paltry two points.
Leicester host Man Utd in Gameweek 15, the side who denied them a UEFA Champions League place last season. Spurs travel to Wolves, who beat Chelsea last time they played in the league at Molineux. Both these forwards represent attractive options here with Kane having recorded nine goals and 10 assists so far this season compared to Vardy's 11 goals and six assists. With little to separate the two, the price tags of both players swings it for us, with the £0.8m saved by choosing Vardy over Kane giving us the ability to strengthen our squad elsewhere. With Man Utd keeping just one clean sheet in their last five Premier League games, we're confident that Vardy can put them to the sword.
