FPL Gameweek 15 – head-to-head comparisons: Anthony Martial vs Edinson Cavani
Man Utd forward Anthony Martial (£8.7m) enjoyed his best gameweek of the season so far this past weekend with the Frenchman perhaps showing signs of getting back to the form he was in towards the end of last season over the past couple of gameweeks. Martial registered three assists in his sides' 6-2 win over Leeds, backing up his goal and assist in Gameweek 13 as the Red Devils downed Sheffield Utd 2-3, giving Martial 22 FPL points over the course of those two gameweeks. His teammate and fellow striker Edinson Cavani (£7.8m) will have been disappointed to only feature for 19 minutes over the course of both those gameweeks as continues his comeback from injury.
United travel to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester in Gameweek 15 and the better option out of the two forwards in the spotlight here will surely be the one chosen to start the match by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. That player is expected to be Martial especially when you consider his recent form. So despite being £0.9m more expensive than Cavani, we're banking on Martial starting against the Foxes and continuing his recent spate of attacking returns.
