FPL Gameweek 13 – head-to-head comparisons: Raul Jimenez vs Marcus Rashford

After a slow start to the season that saw Raul Jimenez (£7.3m) score two goals in the opening eight gameweeks, the Mexican has really started to hit his stride in recent weeks. Over the last five gameweeks, Jimenez has scored three times and assisted twice while picking up 37 points at an average of 7.40 points per match. When comparing forwards, only Vardy has scored more points over the same time period. Wolves travel to Bournemouth in Gameweek 13, who have really improved their defensive record in recent weeks with three clean sheets in their last four league matches.

Marcus Rashford (£8.6m) is another who endured a slightly lean patch earlier in the season but has turned things around more recently. The return of Anthony Martial has coincided with an upturn of form for the English forward who has three goals and an assist since Martial's return. United face a tough away fixture in Gameweek 13, when they travel to Sheffield Utd. The combination of slightly harder fixture and increased cost make Jimenez the more favourable option.
