FPL Gameweek 13 – head-to-head comparisons: Mo Salah vs Sadio Mane

In the running battle between the Liverpool attacking midfielders, both Mo Salah (£12.3m) and Sadio Mane (£12.1m) returned goals in Gameweek 12 in their 3-1 win over Man City. Whilst Salah picked up 8 FPL points compared to Mane's 7 FPL points, it is still Mane who has more overall FPL points this season, with 83 points compared to the Egyptian's 72 points.

Next up for Liverpool is a trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace in Gameweek 13. After being ruled out of international duty due to his troublesome ankle injury, Salah has been pictured in Egypt wearing a protective boot. This automatically spells bad news and whilst he still has plenty of time to recover before the Palace game, it would be wise to pick the safer option in a fully-fit Mane.
