It was further frustration for Man City's Kevin De Bruyne (£10.2m) as the Belgian registered his second successive FPL blank for the first time this season in Gameweek 12. Despite creating numerous opportunities, his teammates failed to capitalise as City went down 3-1 to title rivals Liverpool at Anfield.
That game also saw Sadio Mane (£12.1m) score his second goal in as many gameweeks as he continues to reward the owners who have brought him into their team over the course of the season. Mane now has 38 FPL points from his last five gameweeks, which includes three goals and three assists.
Gameweek 13 sees De Bruyne back at home, where he has piled up an incredible 49 FPL points from the five games he has started for Man City at the Etihad Stadium. Chelsea are the visitors and last season saw City put six goals past the Blues in this fixture. Mane's Liverpool are away to Crystal Palace, who have only conceded five goals in their six home games this season. The fixtures favour De Bruyne, whereas the form favours Mane. If you're choosing between the two for Gameweek 13 only, we're inclined to give De Bruyne the edge purely due to his cheaper price tag.
