FPL Gameweek 13 – head-to-head comparisons: Callum Wilson vs Teemu Pukki

You could consider this a battle between arguably the two most out-of-form strikers in the Premier League. Following a run of five goals in four Premier League games, Bournemouth's Callum Wilson (£7.8m) has now failed to find the net since Gameweek 7. This barren run of form is surpassed by Norwich striker Teemu Pukki (£6.7m), who has yet to register an attacking FPL return since Gameweek 5, when he scored and assisted in a 3-2 win against Premier League champions Man City. Once the darling of FPL, the infamous "Pukki Party" has since been vacated with many FPL managers moving onwards to the tried and tested "Vardy Party" instead.

Will Gameweek 13 see either striker end their duck in front of goal? For Wilson, it's a home fixture against an in-form Wolves side unbeaten in their last seven Premier League games. For Pukki, it's an away trip to Everton, who are coming off the back of a win away at Southampton in Gameweek 12. Neither player will seem particularly enticing to FPL managers, but Wilson's better record at home (three goals at the Vitality Stadium this season compared to Pukki's one goal away from home) probably sees him as the better bet between the two to find the net and earn more FPL points this weekend.

Verdict: Callum Wilson
