FPL Gameweek 13 – head-to-head comparisons: Ben Chilwell vs Patrick van Aanholt

Owners of Leicester defender Ben Chilwell (£5.7m) continue to prosper from the Foxes' formidable back line as they secured their third successive clean sheet in Gameweek 12. Chilwell now has an incredible 31 FPL points from his last three gameweeks as he continues to ride the crest of a wave following his 19-point haul in Gameweek 10 away at Southampton, which included a clean sheet, a goal and two assists in a 0-9 win.

The struggles of Patrick van Aanholt (£5.6m) continued in Gameweek 12, after the Crystal Palace defender could only manage his fourth successive one-pointer in a 2-0 defeat away at Chelsea. Four points in four gameweeks is most unlike Van Aanholt, who usually provides a handy attacking outlet in a tight Palace defence, with the Dutch international having scored two goals this season.

It doesn't look like getting easier for Van Aanholt in Gameweek 13, with table-toppers Liverpool the visitors to Selhurst Park, but Crystal Palace have proven tough to break down at home, conceding only five goals from their six home games so far this season. Having said that, Liverpool should be a bridge too far for the Eagles and whilst an away trip to Brighton won't provide Chilwell's Leicester with the easiest of tasks, his chances of a clean sheet appear far higher.
