FPL Gameweek 13 – head-to-head comparisons: Andrew Robertson vs John Lundstram

Andrew Robertson (£7.0m) continued his impressive attacking returns for Liverpool from defence in Gameweek 12, providing an assist in Liverpool's 3-1 win against Man City. The Scot has now registered an attacking FPL return (goal or assist) in three of his last four league games. With Crystal Palace away next up for the Reds, Robertson will not only be hoping for returns in attack, but also returns in defence with Palace having only scored four goals in their six home Premier League games this season.

FPL darling John Lundstram (£4.9m) was denied his third goal in two games by the woodwork away at Spurs in Gameweek 12 and despite only returning 2 FPL points, gave plenty of reasons for his owners to be optimistic for the future. His Sheffield Utd side face Man Utd in Gameweek 13 and Lundstram will be looking for his fourth clean sheet at Bramall Lane.

Whilst Lundstram is more likely to score than Robertson, the Scot has a better chance of a clean sheet based on the fixtures. Combine that with his attacking returns over the past four gameweeks and we are inclined to give him the edge over Lundstram in Gameweek 13.

Verdict: Andrew Robertson
