Man City attacking assets can be both highly rewarding yet highly frustrating depending on Pep and his regular rotations. Sergio Aguero (£12.0m) made a strong start to the season in scoring eight goals in his first six gameweeks but that scoring rate has slowed dramatically in recent weeks with just one tally in his last five.
Aguero has picked up 13 fantasy points in his last five games and that has seen him outscored by his team-mate Gabriel Jesus (£9.5m), who has scored 20 over that same period. The Brazilian has been looking sharp in recent weeks which has pushed him to the front of Peps’s mind for team selection during this busy spell. So much will depend on which one starts in the top-of-the-table clash at Anfield on Sunday, and given the magnitude of the match, Aguero has to be favoured to get the nod.
