FPL Gameweek 11 – head-to-head comparisons: Riyad Mahrez vs Ferran Torres
It turned out to be a special Gameweek 10 for Riyad Mahrez (£8.3m) as he continued his good record against Burnley, scoring a hat-trick in a 5-0 win for Man City. Mahrez picked up 21 FPL points, compared to the eight FPL points teammate Ferran Torres (£6.9m) gained after scoring a goal himself. It was the Spaniard's first Premier League goal of the season.
Gameweek 11 sees Man City face another home clash against a side that they would expect to score a healthy amount of goals against, although Fulham are coming off the back of a victory away to Leicester. Torres started for Man City in midweek against Porto in the UEFA Champions League, whilst Mahrez was rested. Taking that into account, we have to assume that Mahrez will definitely start in this game and therefore we're giving him the nod in this head-to-head.
