FPL Gameweek 11 – head-to-head comparisons: Mohamed Salah vs Bruno Fernandes
Making his Premier League return for Liverpool in Gameweek 10 after a positive Covid-19 test ruled him out of Gameweek 9, Mohamed Salah (£12.2m) recorded an assist for Liverpool in their 1-1 draw over Brighton. It could have been more but VAR had disallowed a goal for Salah through offside earlier in the piece. As for Bruno Fernandes (£10.9m), well he continued his excellent form for Man Utd with another goal and assist in their 2-3 win vs Southampton. The Portuguese star now has seven goals and four assists in the Premier League so far this season.
Salah and Liverpool are at home to Wolves in Gameweek 11, whilst Man Utd travel to West Ham. Egyptian Salah has not scored at Anfield against Wolves in the Premier League, which could potentially spell red flags for him. However, Fernandes' away form is simply incredible. With 50 FPL points from his four away league matches this season, it would be remiss of us not to favour him here. Salah may well provide a healthy points return, but Fernandes' ceiling in this particular gameweek feels higher.
