FPL Gameweek 11 – head-to-head comparisons: Aaron Connolly vs Jordan Ayew

Those who jumped on the Aaron Connolly (£4.6m) bandwagon after his brace against Spurs in Gameweek 8 will have been pleased to see him get back among the points on the weekend, with his two assists against Everton good enough for 8 FPL points. Despite only making three Premier League starts this season, Connolly is the highest-scoring FPL forward under £5.0m.

Jordan Ayew (£5.1m) has been ticking along for Crystal Palace with four Premier League goals to his name this season and represents a decent third striker to rotate into your side from time to time. The Ghanaian has scored twice in the last three gameweeks and is enjoying a decent run in Roy Hodgson's side at present.

The outlook for Gameweek 11 points us towards Connolly as Brighton host a Norwich side woefully out of form and who have been conceding goals at an alarming rate. Ayew's Palace take on in-form Leicester on Sunday and that is not an attractive fixture for Ayew owners.
