FPL Gameweek 10 – head-to-head comparisons: Raheem Sterling vs Heung-Min Son

Despite an assist against Crystal Palace in Gameweek 9, Raheem Sterling (£12.1m) continued his underwhelming FPL form by his high standards and lofty price tag. The Man City star has picked up just 19 FPL points from his last six gameweeks and owners are starting to lose patience. Heung-Min Son (£9.7m) proved equally as frustrating for his owners last weekend, after the South Korean was left on the bench at home against rock-bottom Watford before being brought on to earn only 1 point for his owners. Both players have made strong claims for a place in any FPL manager’s side for Gameweek 10 following their performances in this week’s Champions League games. Son scored twice for Spurs, whilst Sterling went one better and grabbed a hat-trick to go with his two assists against Atalanta. The fixtures favour the Man City midfielder, who faces Aston Villa at home compared to Son travelling to Anfield to play Liverpool. Hopefully this will be the match that Sterling delivers the monster FPL haul that he has yet to accrue since Gameweek 1 away at West Ham.

Verdict: Raheem Sterling
