FPL Gameweek 10 – head-to-head comparisons: Patrick van Aanholt vs Matt Doherty

It was a thankless task for Patrick van Aanholt (£5.6m) in Gameweek 9 as his Crystal Palace side hosted Premier League champions Man City and unsurprisingly were on the receiving end of a defeat. It doesn’t get any easier for Van Aanholt in Gameweek 10, with a trip across the capital to Arsenal on the horizon. Despite not starting in Gameweek 9, Matt Doherty (£6.0m) came off the bench at half-time for Wolves and returned an assist in their 1-1 draw at home to Southampton. He’ll be hoping that it was enough to earn him a start in Gameweek 10 when Wolves travel to Newcastle. This fixture last season saw Doherty score the winner in a 2-1 victory for his side and we fancy him to offer an attacking return again in this game.
