Earlier in the season, this may have been a closer run contest but Kevin De Bruyne (£10.1m) has proven himself to be as near to an FPL must-own as it gets this season, with the Belgian currently the top-scoring FPL point-scorer this season on 66 points. Heung-Min Son (£9.7m), meanwhile, went through a purple patch from gameweeks 4-7 with two goals and three assists following the completion of a suspension which ran from last season, but since then the South Korean has recorded consecutive blanks as his Spurs side's troubles deepen.
Up next for Mauricio Pochettino's troubled outfit is a trip to league leaders Liverpool, while Man City play host to Aston Villa so it seems like a no-brainer which to side with on this particular occasion. If Spurs can put their troubles behind them then Son will no doubt become an attractive asset again, but for now, FPL managers should avoid the North London club.
