Although the enforced break may well have reset individual player form to some extent, it is difficult to turn a blind eye to James Maddison's (£7.5m) hugely disappointing output since the Christmas period. The Leicester man has registered just one attacking return in his last 13 Premier League appearances and that saw FPL managers sell the England midfielder in their droves. Leicester resume their season against a Watford side who were performing well at home prior to the break and this is perhaps a tougher fixture than it looks on paper.
Richarlison (£8.3m) has somewhat gone under the radar this season but the fact is that, amongst FPL midfielders, only Sadio Mane, Kevin De Bruyne and Mo Salah have scored more point than the Brazilian. Everton host champions-elect Liverpool in Double Gameweek 30+ and although that is undoubtedly a tough fixture, we believe Richarlison is the better pick out of the two due to his greater consistency.
Verdict: Richarlison
