After stellar campaigns in 2018-19, Lucas Digne and Matt Doherty have both seen their prices rise to £6.0m for the 2019-20 season. While both offered excellent value for money last year, it is Digne who is worth the £6.0m outlay this campaign. Not only does the Everton left-back have more clean sheets and points per appearance than the Wolves right back but he is better positioned to repeat his attacking exploits from last season. Five clean sheets and 0.72 points per appearance more than Doherty, Digne has the added advantage of taking corners, indirect and direct free kicks for Everton. The Toffees also have the better looking fixtures as they don’t play any of last season’s top six in their opening six matches, and just one (Man City) in their opening ten.
