FPL – head-to-head comparisons: Craig Cathcart vs Jamaal Lascelles

With four more clean sheets and 19 fewer goals conceded over the course of last season Jamaal Lascelles (£4.5m) would, at first look, seem the clear option between himself and Craig Cathcart (£4.5m). However, the loss of Rafa Benitez will certainly hurt Newcastle’s prospects of keeping as many clean sheets as previous years. With two of Newcastle’s three opening fixtures against Arsenal and Spurs, it’s Watford’s Craig Cathcart who initially represents the more attractive option.
