GAMEWEEK 4 FIXTURES

Saturday 31st August

Chelsea v Sheffield Utd (15:00)

Crystal Palace v Aston Villa (15:00)

Leicester v Bournemouth (15:00)

Man City v Brighton (15:00)

Newcastle v Watford (15:00)

West Ham v Norwich (17:30)

Sunday 1st September

Everton v Wolves (14:00)

Arsenal v Spurs (16:30)

Man City are the top-ranked team for clean sheet potential in GW4. The Blues will host Brighton and are odds on to keep a clean with their likelihood projected at 62.5%. A shut-out would result in some welcome clean sheet points for the likes of Aymeric Laporte (£6.5m) and Kyle Walker (£6.0m). Second on the list are Chelsea, who welcome Sheffield United to Stamford Bridge. The Blades are currently averaging just over 10 shots on goal per game (14th in the league) and Lampard will be optimistic his side can record their first clean sheet of the season. With more shots on target than any other defender this season, Emerson (£5.5m) could offer returns at both ends of the field.

Everton offer a potential alternative to the traditional big-hitters for FPL managers hunting clean sheets, as Wolves make the trip to Goodison Park in GW4. Full-backs Lucas Digne (£6.1m) and Seamus Coleman (£5.5m) offer the double threat of both clean sheets and attacking returns.

Unsurprisingly, Brighton are at the bottom of the list as they travel to Man City who haven’t failed to score at home in 21 Premier League matches. Sergio Aguero (£12.0m) and Raheem Sterling (£12.3m) will look to keep their scoring record going. Brighton are joined in the bottom three by Burnley and Sheffield Utd who play Liverpool and Chelsea respectively. Goals could be on the agenda for budget options Tammy Abraham (£7.1m) and Mason Mount (£6.2m) while at Liverpool it’s hard to look past the traditional big three of Mo Salah (£12.5m), Sadio Mane (£11.5m) and Roberto Firmino (£9.5m).
