FPL Gameweek 25 – head-to-head comparisons: Stuart Dallas vs Vladimir Coufal
Stuart Dallas (£5.0m) has become an FPL darling this season, extending his cult status from a hero worshipping at Leeds United, but the Northern Irishman was part of a shoddy defensive display away to Arsenal last weekend that saw him finish with a -1. He is 14 points above Vladimir Coufal (£4.7m) in the Defenders’ table but the Hammers full-back has played three less games this season and has proven to be a consistent option for his surprisingly small ownership at 6.6%. Coufal claimed a clean sheet against rock-bottom Sheffield United las weekend, his second in two games.
This double gameweek 25 could see a huge swing in potential points for the versatile Leeds’ ever-present. Dallas has four goals and three assists to his name so far this season and with two fixtures this weekend away to Wolves and at home to Southampton he could end up the highest-scoring player in DGW25 or, if Leeds play as they did against Arsenal, with another minus. Coufal has a tough-looking London derby at home to Spurs, who look to be getting back to goal-scoring. Between these two, two fixtures for Stuart Dallas is definitely the risk worth taking.
