Both midfielders got off to a scoring start in Gameweek 1, with Johann Berg Gudmundsson (£6.0m) netting for Burnley against Southampton whilst Tanguy Ndombele (£6.0m) scored his first goal for Spurs on his debut against Aston Villa. Both face tricky away fixtures in Gameweek 2, as Burnley go to the Emirates to face Arsenal and Ndombele travels to the Ethiad to take on Premier League champions Man City. Both will find it tough on paper to gain a significant points haul next week, but based on his more advanced positioning throughout Gameweek 1, we’d give Gudmundsson the edge in this one.
