Sadio Mane (£11.9m) has looked the most potent of a stuttering Liverpool side in recent weeks but he has still blanked two games in a row after scoring in back-to-back games over Christmas. Marcus Rashford (£9.6m) also had a good spell over the festive period but bagged an additional assist against Burnley last time out to start DGW19 seven points higher than Mane in the standings.
Both players could find this Sunday’s match at Anfield tricky with goals potentially at a premium between the old rivals like in recent seasons but Rashford’s follow-up game away to Fulham looks to be, suddenly, a tough ask for Forwards against Scott Parker’s stubborn Cottagers. Even though Liverpool are mis-firing, back-to-back games at Anfield, where they remain unbeaten, could be just what the doctor ordered for Jurgen Klopp’s side. Even though United’s away record speaks for itself, we think Mane just edges this H2H.
Verdict: Sadio Mane
