Liverpool and Everton are the top two-rated team for clean sheet potential in GW13. Liverpool travel to Crystal Palace, while Everton welcome Norwich to Goodison Park. Given Liverpool's excellent run of fixtures before their Club World Cup commitments, now could be a good time to double or even triple-up on their defensive assets. Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.2m) and Andy Robertson (£7.0m) will be at the forefront of FPL managers’ thoughts, though Robertson’s injury does need monitoring. For Everton, it’s hard to look beyond Lucas Digne (£5.9m) given the attacking potential he provides, though Mason Holgate (£4.4m) has now started the last three league matches and is an excellent budget option.
Third on the list are Arsenal, who host Southampton in GW13. When considering Arsenal’s defensive players, Calum Chambers (£4.4m) is the cheapest option available who is starting on a regular basis. Of the more expensive options, David Luiz (£5.8m) loves a goal almost as much as a penalty, having already found the net twice this season.
At the bottom of the list are Chelsea, who are only given a 9.6% probability of registering a clean sheet when they travel to Man City. Despite scoring nine points last time out, it could be time for budget darling Fikayo Tomori (£4.9m) to see the bench this gameweek.
