Marcus Rashford (£9.4m) continues to be a shining light in what is a misfiring and frustrating Man United side but he has probably scored less goals than expected so far this season. He has strung together back-to-back attacking returns in comeback wins against Southampton and West Ham last time out. Heung-Min Son (£9.6m) scored one and assisted the other in Spurs’ commanding defeat of Arsenal last weekend and in doing so made his sixth double-figure score in FPL this season.

While Rashford has scored two goals against Man City in his last four meetings with their city rivals, United’s recent form does not suggest this is going to be a happy return to Old Trafford for fans. Son, on the other hand, remains the highest-scoring player in the game and the first to reach three figures as he sits on 100 points. The Korean has scored three goals in his last four matches with Crystal Palace and looks a good option for captaincy, never mind this comparison.

Verdict: Heung-Min Son
