FPL Gameweek 12 – head-to-head comparisons: Danny Welbeck vs Che Adams
Owned by less than 1% at the time of writing, Danny Welbeck (£5.6m) could be the FPL asset most managers are sleeping on as he bagged his third attacking return in a row last weekend with an assist against Southampton. The Brighton forward has started his last four matches in the league and scored 19 points in three games. Che Adams (£6.0m) went on a similar run of form between Gameweek 5 and 9 and despite two blanks since then the Southampton forward links up well with Danny Ings, who is back from injury now to face struggling Sheffield United.
Both at excellent budget prices, the fixture does suit Che Adams more this week in particular, as it was against the Blades last season that he bagged his only Premier League brace to date. Welbeck is an excellent differential but Leicester are much the tougher opponent as things stand and Adams gets the nod.
