Wolves’ Pedro Neto (£5.7m) has quietly racked up enough points to be ENTER in the Midfielder category but Daniel Podence (£5.4m) is not far behind. They both had an excellent game against Arsenal in the absence of Raul Jimenez after his horrific injury and, despite a setback in their 0-4 thrashing by Liverpool last weekend, they could link up well again against West Midlands rivals Aston Villa.
Neto has one goal and one assist more than his teammate but whilst they are both very cheap, Podence looks an absolute steal at his current value. Considering that picking one of these players would likely be a move for money-making or releasing move, Podence offers the best value and is likely to increase if he continues in this form. However, without Jimenez in the side Neto is the likelier target for goals this weekend.
Verdict: Pedro Neto
