FPL Gameweek 11 – head-to-head comparisons: Kevin De Bruyne vs Bruno Fernandes
New-look West Ham United may prove a challenge for Bruno Fernandes’ (£10.9m) Man United, especially after their midweek bruising in the Champions League dampened the spirits of last weekend’s win at Southampton, but the Portuguese can usually find a spark from nowhere. Much like Kevin De Bruyne (£11.7m) in his best form, although we have yet to see that this season. He did make two assists against Burnley last time out in the league and now faces another bottom side but the Belgian’s rhythm is not quite there yet.
Six attacking returns in his last three matches makes this quite an easy call for Fernandes, especially as he seems to be forming a great understanding with Man United’s risk-turned-reward Edinson Cavani. City may well have a field day at home to Fulham but De Bruyne’s form cannot match the United man at this moment.
