Without setting the league alight, Chelsea’s summer signing Werner has still bagged four goals and three assists so far and the 0-0 draw with Spurs ended a run of three matches where he made an attacking return. It will be worth watching his performance in the Champions League this week against Sevilla as to whether he is a shout to grab points against Leeds this weekend.
However, Jamie Vardy is our pick this week as he faces bottom-of-the-league Sheffield United. As a former Sheffield Wednesday youth player, Leicester’s talisman enjoyed scoring at Bramall Lane in this fixture last season and should do again just in time for the return of some fans to torment.
