FPL Gameweek 11 – head-to-head comparisons: Jack Grealish vs James Rodriguez
Jack Grealish (£7.7m) grabbed 10 FPL points despite seeing his Aston Villa side lose their Monday night match with West Ham and the talisman is starting to look like a must-have for those FPL managers yet to snap him up. At a similar price to Everton’s James Rodriguez (£7.8m) he is proving to be the far more reliable as the Toffees endure a slump in form and almost everything Villa do well involves him.
Grealish’s next five fixtures looks a mouth-watering prospect and a home match against Newcastle on Friday night with some fans allowed back in Villa Park should be cause for celebration. That is, if it goes ahead at all due to the news of a covid-19 outbreak at the Magpies this week. Rodriguez will face a Burnley side who just shipped five goals against City and Sean Dyche’s first target here will be a clean sheet at home. With that in mind, Jack Grealish should be on everyone’s wish lists but it might be wise to wait until confirmation that his next match will go ahead.
