FPL Gameweek 10 – head-to-head comparisons: Sergio Aguero vs Gabriel Jesus
This is a tricky call between Man City’s two striking options considering Sergio Aguero (£10.3m) is fit again but did not feature in their recent loss to Tottenham and Gabriel Jesus (£9.3m) has left much to be desired up front in his absence. Whilst the team as a whole is devoid of their true powers right now, there are likely other City assets in FPL managers’ plans than these two expensive options.
With his price reduced this season, Aguero is less of a drain on resources than recent years but really has little form to speak of this season and has yet not completed a game for City, let alone score. We all know he could click into gear at any moment but there is much to be said for his Brazilian counterpart in this particular fixture. Jesus has a penchant for playing Burnley with three goals and one assist against the Clarets over his last five matches against them. With Champions League commitments in midweek Jesus is likely to see some game time here and is the better option in comparison with Aguero at this moment in time.
