Luke Shaw (£5.1m) has been something of a revelation this season as he looks to have found a rhythm possibly for the first time at United and his five assists have been crucial to many a victory alongside his strong defensive displays. Shaw could be in with a shout of an England call-up, which will likely be on his mind as we near the latter stages of the season, and he is keeping summer signing Alex Telles out of the starting 11 with his improved form. Ricardo Pereira (£5.9m) will have been well missed by FPL managers after becoming something of a darling last season but he is back from a long injury to have started each of Leicester City’s last five league games.
On the basis of their two fixtures each this double gameweek 26, Pereira has the stronger fixture at home to Arsenal and away at Burnley whilst Shaw’s look pretty difficult away at both a rejuvenated Chelsea and then Crystal Palace, who beat United at the start of the season. Both players have the potential for points in these games but Pereira’s return has seen him pretty far up the pitch at times for the Foxes and if he can find his form from last season soon he has a higher ceiling then the United left-back.
