This is undoubtedly one of the standout ties of the second round as two former world champions do battle. Van Barneveld’s game looked in good shape on Monday when he averaged 96.70 in a 3-0 defeat of Lourence Ilagan but this will be a huge test for him against an opponent who has recently been rediscovering some of his best form.
