This is a tasty looking first round match between the number four seed Michael Smith and the World Matchplay champion Dimitri Van den Bergh. Smith is still chasing his first major PDC title, but the chances of him claiming that title at the World Grand Prix don’t look to be good as he has only ever reached the second round in two of his previous seven appearances.
