THE PREDICTION
Former BDO World Champion Stephen Bunting makes his first appearance on the Alexandra Palace stage in 2020 to take on Andy Boulton who averaged 90 in his victory against Deta Hedman in round one. The Bullet did well to reach the last 16 here a year ago but that was his best performance at the PDC World Championship since he reached the quarter-finals on his debut at the 2014-15 tournament and the number of early exits have been disappointing. Bunting should escape an early exit here though and he looks set to make it through to a round three meeting with James Wade. The 2014 BDO champ defeated Boulton 6-1 when they met on the PDC circuit earlier this year and he is tipped to take care of business with a three sets to one victory in this contest.
