THE PREDICTION

Joe Cullen will be hoping for better fortunes at Alexandra Palace this year as the Yorkshireman has never gone further than the second round in his ten previous PDC World Championship appearances. The Rockstar certainly looks capable of a better showing here this time out as he has had some good results on the circuit this year with two tournament wins and a run to the quarter-finals at both the World Grand Prix and Players Championship Finals. It remains to be seen of course if Cullen can maintain the consistency to go deep into this tournament but he looks at least set to make it through to the third round with a victory against Wayne Jones.
