THE PREDICTION
Adam Hunt came through a nail-biting first-round tie with Lisa Ashton on Wednesday where he was pushed all the way and eventually prevailed 3-2. As a result, the world number 76 has already surpassed his best performance at Ally Pally when he made his debut last year and he can be reasonably pleased with his performance against Ashton having averaged 94.29 and finished over 40% of his doubles. Jamie Hughes, though, is a dangerous opponent for anyone and is capable of playing to higher level than Hunt. He failed to win a game at the Worlds last year but with another year under his belt in the PDC, he can be fancied to edge a tight contest with a 3-2 win for Yozza the prediction.
