THE PREDICTION
It could be said that each of these players has a very underwhelming record at the PDC World Championship as they have both only made it as far as the last eight on just one occasion and one of them is set for more disappointment with a second round exit this year. White is the obvious favourite to prevail as he is the number ten seed but if Huybrechts performs like he did in round one - where he averaged 104 - then the Belgian is certainly capable of winning this tie. Consistency has been a big problem for the Belgian over the last few years though and one can’t be too confident that he will produce the same standard in consecutive games. If you are considering a wager you might want to take note that both of their previous two meetings on this stage went the distance and it would be no surprise if this contest followed suit.
