Gerwyn Price produced an impressive display of finishing to see off Mervyn King in the last 16 and the Welshman will need to show more of the same if he is to overcome Daryl Gurney and reach the semi-finals at Ally Pally for the second time in a row. Although SuperChin’s record at the World Championship is not good - this is only his second appearance in the last eight - he has proven his ability to rise to the occasion on the big stage on numerous occasions and one would expect him to do that here. Gurney is tipped to come up just short in his bid to make it through to the last four though as Price has the skill and belief to claim the initiative at the key moments in this game.
