Alexandra Palace has not been a happy venue for Mickey Mansell as he has yet to win a match in five previous PDC World Championship appearances and the Northern Irishman’s wait for a win in this prestigious competition could be set to continue as he faces a tough opening round match against New Zealand’s Haupai Puha this time out. The Kiwi qualifier may be making his debut at Ally Pally, but he is no stranger to our TV screens as he has competed in some World Series events and has also represented his nation at the World Cup of Darts.
