Latvia’s Madars Razma will be confident that he can improve on his performance at Alexandra Palace last year when he exited in round one as he takes on World Championship debutant Toru Suzuki in the opening round of the 2020-21 tournament. Razma may not feature regularly in the latter stages of ranking events but he is a very capable player who has reached a couple of finals during the last couple of years and he has to be fancied to progress through to the next round courtesy of a victory against the Japanese qualifier.
