Lisa Ashton is back at Alexandra Palace for a second appearance at the PDC World Championship having made her debut two years ago when she lost in round one against Jan Dekker. There is certainly a reason to believe that she can go at least one better on this occasion as she is up against an opponent whom she has beaten twice on the tour this season. Adam Hunt also made his World Championship debut in 2019 and it is worth noting that he averaged eight points less than Ashton did in their respective round one ties. Taking all of this into account, there looks to be some value in placing a bet on Ashton to win.
